There’s a new location in Moscow for the Mi Piace Italian restaurant chain, on Tverskaya. The two-story restaurant features huge windows which make for great people watching. The modern interior design leans toward the simple, with large black and white photos of people eating.
The chain is known for its pizzas and this particular one has 18 varieties on the menu, and calzones and focaccia too. The prices range from 100 rubles for focaccia to 490 ruble for a marino seafood pizza. An interesting menu item is the dessert pizza, there are four types that go for 290 rubles each. You can put together your own personal pizza and mix and match ingredients also.
Other options from the menu include salads and pasta dishes. The “Mi Piacae” salad has oak leaf lettuce, ruccola and latuca with passionfruit, pear and grilled salmon and goes for 350 rubles. Tartares are 290 rubles while carpaccios run from 230 to 290 rubles. A favorite pasta dish is delightful vegetarian lasagna for 290 rubles as well as all the classics that range from 180 to 390 rubles.
While the menu lists a variety of alcoholic treats, as of recent days the restaurant was only serving beer in a bottle - Heineken, Corona and Erdinger.
Mi Piace Tverskava is located at 7 1st Tverskava-Yamskava Ul and is open from 11 a.m. to midnight.
