Located on the western edge of the Garden ring off Novinsky Bulvar among the expensive shops on Novinsky Passage, the Blue Elephant offers a great opportunity to take a special Russian woman out for a quiet exotic meal.The restaurant features teak furniture in a large interior. You can sit near the entrance of the restaurant and view the fountain and statue castes located below the second floor of Novinsky Passage and relax in style while dining on delicious Thai food.
The Satay chicken is very tender and has a wide range of flavors and spices along with a variety of accompanying sauces. A Dim Sim dish brings out the Chinese influence in the food but the Blue Elephant chefs make it their own with their unique blend of spices and flavorings. The Pad Thai is nice and spicy with a combination of noodles, seafood and chopped peanuts. You also might want to try the Thai Green Curry or the Paneng Nua, both on the hot side with some excellent curry that comes with the meals.
There is alcohol available; however, you would be well served to try the Thai and Chinese teas that are available with the meal. The food is high quality so it is on the expensive side.
