New Dining Opportunity Near Gorky Park: Cafe 15

Posted by admin on March 8th, 2007 at 11:35 pm

There’s a new café option available in Gorky Park and the Neskuchny Sad area for those times when the summer shashlik cafes are shut down and Chaikhona No. 1 is full - Café 15. Café 15 is located on the ground floor of a new business center opposite the back entry to Gorky Park on the other side of Leninsky Prospekt.

While the café is busy during work hour from the workers upstairs, it slows down considerably after work hours and on the weekends, providing a relaxed dining environment. The café makes an “L” shape around the corner of the building and has floor-to-ceiling windows that allow plenty of light.

The 11 am to 1 pm breakfast menu has three varieties of porridge for 60 rubles with additions for 25 rubles each. You can get an omelet for 120 rubles. Fresh juices are in the 120 to 250 ruble range.

The rest of the dining menu features sushi, Caesar salads with chicken (160 rubles) or salmon (180 rubles) and tomato and mozzarella for 180 rubles. The soup choices include miso for 100 rubles and a spicy Singapore soup for 180 rubles. Café 15 offers main courses like duck breast for 270 rubles, lamp chops with potato au gratin for 400 rubles and dorado with vegetables for 450 rubles. You can also get pizza with prices ranging from 150 rubles to 270 rubles.

While Café 15 does not yet have a liquor license, you can get beer for 180 rubles a half-liter. Café 15 is located at 15A Leninsky Prospekt and is open from 11am to midnight.
