Drag Queen Hosts Talk Show on NTV
One of the more bizarre acts on NTV is a new talk show called “Bitch Love” which is hosted by a drag queen named Zaza Napoli who also performs as a cabaret act at gay clubs. On the TV show, Zaza talks to people who had been famous in the early 1990′s to get their confessions of love, treachery and obsession. And then throws in some freaks who are missing a limb or two.
The show last week had a singer named Polina Griffis from the musical group A-Studio. She claimed that her Danish singer ex-husband was a drunk and use to beat her up. Then the footage cut to a scene of him with a new girlfriend talking about how much in love they were.
Then Zaza went to meet a woman with no legs. The segment, called “All Your Life on Your Hands” focused on the sex angle of the relationship between her and her husband. Lyuba was shown being washed by her husband and he talked about their great sex life.
It is hard to understand why Zaza is the hostess as NTV is known for more “macho” programming. While she pranced around in sparkly blue eye shadow and high heels, she didn’t really get to present any campy humor.
