MTV Russia has launched a new show hosted by the Russian lady producer, Yana Rudkovskaya. The beautiful blonde-haired woman is featured as the host of “Naked Show Business”, an industry insider gossip show about players in the Russian entertainment industry.

International superstar and recording artist Elton John will be appearing in St. Petersburg on Palace Square Friday as part of a European tour. The promoters for the concert are PMI who are also bring the Rolling Stones to the city later in July.

There’s a new Central Asian restaurant in downtown Moscow and its name comes from a berry which is also using in some of the dishes offered. Barbaris, or barberry, is the name and it is also known as zereshk in dried form.

The 29th Moscow International Film Festival opened on June 22nd and will run through June 30th and offers many opportunities to see some international film fare.
