Russian bride romance through language

Marrying a Russian woman is very easy if the communication between you and your Russian bride is excellent. It helps if your bride speaks English, but things become much smoother with her and her family if you can speak a few words of basic Russian. Love can bloom between the first Hello and Goodbye, and here’s some help for you to say these and other such basic words in Russian.

Being Formal or Informal with Your Russian Bride

  • Unlike in English, Russian has different words for the same greetings.
  • One is formal, for use between those meeting for the first time, or when meeting people more elder or respectable.
  • The other is informal, for use between friends, or people who already know each other.

Saying Hello and Goodbye to Your Russian Bride

The formal Hello in Russian is ZDRAST-uy-te, whereas the informal one is ZDRAST-uy. To simply say Hi, you say pri-VYET.

The formal Goodbye in Russian is da svi-DA-ni-ya, the informal Goodbye or Bye is pa-KA.

The capital letters given in the phonetic Russian here are for emphasis, these are spoken in a louder tone. For example, in da svi-DA-ni-ya, the emphasis is only on the “DA”, and the rest is spoken without emphasis.

Saying Good Morning and Good Night to Your Russian Bride

  • Once you have memorized Hello and Goodbye in Russian, it is time to move on to other phrases of greeting, like Good Morning, or DO -bra-ye OO-tra.
  • To wish a Russian woman Good Evening, say DO-briy VYE-chir!
  • To bid Good night, say DO-broy NO-chi!
  • To wish your Russian bride a Good day, say DO-briy DYEN’!
  • It gets easier with practice, so try and repeat these phrases at every opportunity of interacting with a Russian woman.

Saying “Nice to Meet You” and “See You Soon” to Your Russian Bride

  • Being able to use polite phrases like “Nice to meet you” or rat paz-na-KO-mit’-sa would be great to make a good first impression on your Russian bride.
  • The alternative is “Very pleased to meet you” or O-chin’ pri-YAT-na.
  • “See you soon” in Russian is da SKO-ra-va.

It is important that you make every effort to learn your Russian bride’s language, because it is only in this way that you can forge a strong relationship.
