Moscow: Women, Travel and Nightlife

In fact, according to CNN and as you will see on that page, Moscow the most expensive city in the world based on housing, transportation, dining, and the overall cost of living. For some perspective, New York ranked number 10 on that list. That doesn’t mean that traveling there will break the bank. In that story, it says that an apartment runs $3K per month, coffee more than five bucks, and a paper more than three dollars! But, a burger and fries? On average, that typical American meal costs just $3.87.

Want to spend your money where it counts while in Russia? You can just skip coffee and head for the burger joint. Want to make jaws drop? There’s plenty of places you can drop hundreds of dollars on a meal or at a club.

Moscow has one of – if not THE – hottest scene in Russia. According to Frommer’s, the club scene “has been called the hottest, wildest, most expensive, and most offensive in Europe. It attracts top DJs from London and New York, top models, and plenty of uncontrolled substances.” You’ll need to dress up, and the city has a variety of options, including jazz and blues in addition to dance.
