| Personal Statement:
I want to tell about myself as about a painting. Maybe it’s a canvas by one of the old Flemish masters. There is a spacious vault of a house. The solidly constructed walls are made of warm stone. There is a high vaulted ceiling. The soil floor is covered with clean straw. There are big wooden tuns full of young wine and long lines of oak shelves along the walls. There is a lot of dusty bottles, ripe pumpkins, ceramic pots with honey and knapsacks with seeds and spice – vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, cayenne, nutmeg… There are barrels of marinated and salted food, baskets of colourful fresh vegetables standing on the floor. There are bunches of dry herbs hanging down from the walls. It smells of wood, soil, spice and herbs there. There are spots of sunlight which pour out of the small square windows under the very ceiling. All the picture is painted in warm brownish colours, there is a lot of ochre and rich patches of light green, bright red and warm yellow... There is no happiness and there is no joy to live for oneself only. I’m sure I can share many things with you. I’m ready to tell you about the things which are important and valuable for me. I promise to be honest and sincere in my every word. And it’s a very small world...
