How this woman took my money and never appeared !!!!

Hi guys,
I had a chat with a lady from Minsk for a while even on e mails and had her cell number, when we decided to meet , i invited her to my place and sent her money for the return ticket. As I went to the airport to welcome her, I realized that she was not on the flight, and after a day only she sent me an e mail saying that she forgot her passport at home and that will come in two weeks , but just before that time she sent me another e mail telling me she will stay only in hotel and not as we agreed before. I felt that I was used by her , and asked her for the money back, but she is not answering me, neither can I enter to her profile as she blocked it for me.
Is this a normal way that's how the Belarussian women act ?
Can you help me and contact her to send me back the air ticket, she is acting not nice to me.I can give you her profile name and photos, which by the way are done long ago, she looks much older than her age there.

Sounds very much like you've been scammed by this woman. So best contact the relevant
dating agency and forward what details you have e.g. copy of emails, phone numbers and photos etc etc.
They need evidence to act on your behalf.
Unfortunatly there isnt much chance of recuperating your money. So maybe put it down to
experience and bite the bullet.
The story you tell is typical of the scammers. They are absolute ***** , cowards who hide behind
false identities and dark sunglasses that cover half their face.

Just to reiterate. Never send money. If unsure about a woman then get a second opinion. Especially,
read the information provided by this Website and search the internet for other tell-tale signs on
how to spot scammers.

I know this doesn't help your cause, but I reported a scam to Loversplanet yesterday; a parasite from Gomel,
Belarus name starts with a N and wears a white jacket. So others beware - they are out there scouring the website for prey.

Finally your comments about 'OLD PHOTOS' might be answered by another post under the heading: Desperate, Deceitful, Egocentric or Mistaken? Yes, many many women display old photos whilst others hide behind enormous dark sunglasses. Always insist on recent photos (without sunglasses) once dialogue is started to filter out the Pinnochios.

Maybe there is a lesson here for all of us i have come across requests on another free site for money.

Always follow the golden rule when dating Russian/Belorussian/Ukrainian women:

"NEVER EVER SEND MONEY - NOT FOR ANY REASON, NOR FOR ANY PROMISE!"

This story is really very bad... I can't imagine your feelings when that happened. To be left practically standing at the airport!!

Well, hopefully now the ladies who read the forum will better realize why the men are so insecure about moving forward and are slow to fly.

Just remember, no matter what country you live or look for a woman in,,, only risk the money that you can afford to lose 100 % with no hard feelings,,, there is never a guarantee with this.. You have to protect yourself first and try to be nice and cordial second,, trust me,, I have lost more than a plane fare.. keep trying though,, good luck

First rule never send money I would report her so she will not continue her game with others here.

In this situation, the smartest thing to do is buy the ticket for her. If she is telling the truth about everything, then there would be no problems.

And if she is not telling the truth, you'll still lose money with the cost of the ticket.

If only everything was as clear cut Be under no illusion, scammers will indeed ask for tickets, as it can be all part of their grooming process especially if they see you will not send money, (plenty of stories on the net) And of course not all flight-tickets are refundable and definately not if your waiting in the airport on the day of their expected arrival

Sending money, tickets, plasma TV's or the odd Lada to someone you have never met and, hoping you'll get a refund if things go pear-shaped seems like wishful thinking at best and borders desperation at worst.

We all know that if these women want to go some where like on vacation to Crimea or any where else they come up with the money. If she serious about meeting and she really feels that you may be the one for her. Tell her to buy the ticket and when you meet you will give her a full refund and the rest of the meeting her money is no good and you pay for everything. If she is willing to do this then she is serious.

Smurf89, yes everything is all set. I fly out Oct. 3rd will arrive on the following evening. I will get 10 full days to spend in Lugansk with Tanya. I can't wait!
