How this woman took my money and never appeared !!!!

well.. I want to add a little here myself. This business of "buying" visas is rubish. Anyone who says that a visa is $3000.00 or supports that fact are not telling the truth and should be banned from these sites.

A one year tourist visa to the US is $100.00..., it can be extended for two years for an additional $100.00 fee.. here is the quote from the US Consular office in Moscow.

A: Russian citizens applying for tourist visas, in nearly all cases, receive visas valid for one year. However, they may ask for a visa valid for two years. If the visa is approved, the applicant must pay an ADDITIONAL $100 at that time in order to receive the visa valid for two years.

I have a friend in Ukraine LIVING on $100.00 per month! ... $3000.00 !!!! thats several years pay for some.. I am VERY surprised that Admin lets these people remain. They MUST know they are scammers!

I would like to formally request to the Admins that they review the posts of BOTH sites and ban anyone who is promoting and supporting these outrageous untruths. They are only hoping that we are stupid enough to believe these lies and send them money.

If you friend comes to the consulate and tells that she earns only $100 a month, her visa application will be denied due to the low salary.

$3000 was for the full trip, which is right. $1500 - for a plane ticket; $100 a day - for hotels; plus food, museum fees, Disneyland, Niagara...

You're missing the point again with this thread too - his story isnt like that. Whats the point of
deflecting the bad thats happened. You appear to be creating your own version of events
here and trying your best to make this man look the bad guy. Read the threads carefully "man"

More women on the same trip? Would that be a diamond and flowers for each of them? How does that equate? Usualy
when you give a woman diamonds it means something special and not goodbye on the first glance.

I personally can't find out if a person is really special until I meet her and spend some time together.
If you can meet with a couple girls when you go to their city, why not? Diamonds are not necessary, you can go together to a theater, restaurant, etc.

I think there are differences in communications, understanding and culture here in this thread.

In this I think that barabaika is right... if you want a Russian women.. then go to Russia and take the girl a gift. I DO NOT think that barabaika is saying to MAIL gifts to many people. He is saying that when you go and meet a nice girl, it is normal you have a gift for her.. AND I might add, you better have gifts for her family. or she will think you are cheap and not a generous person.. (you would be).

and yes ladies.. we DO read your forum.. and when someone wants $3000.00 to be sent to them, there is a BIG problem. Have your man apply for a fiance' visa, HE MUST sign papers showing HIS income and support, you will NOT need to prove your income as a bride. Have Your man send you the tickets and a little traveling money. That is all you will need. But the man should ONLY do this after he has visited you, knows you and your family and is certain and comfortable with your intent

The point that is being made here is that you NEVER send money or expensive gifts to people that you can not afford to lose, because you probably will lose it.

These post have become somewhat combative, now I’m not sure if you (Cymru) have been a victim one time too many or you just have a disposition for conflict. However attacking an idea or posting your point of view is very acceptable but to attack the person who says something you disagree with is going too far. You have made some good points “never send money” ECT. But since I believe it is most of the men’s intention to use the forums to gain information to enhance their search then there seems little reason to beat a dead horse or attack other points of view. So just chill out and le others search how they choose even if you disagree.

I also wish to state that i posted a comment from one of the ladies ( Pretty35) on this thread and feel what she had to say was taken very much out of context. Read nothing more into what is written this was her point of view nothing more.

Just for information... Ladies who come here for marriage, come on a fiance' visa... ladies who come for fun, sport or to scam, will ask for a tourist visa and demand money. Ladies, if you want to be taken seriously and not marked as a scammer, request the fiance' visa... DO NOT request the tourist visa, and then need/request money.

Men.. do not request a lady comes here until you have gone there!! You MUST have photos of the two of you together to qualify for a fiance' visa... make your plans and go, take a nice little gift for your chosen woman, take a few extra gifts for her parents/family, because if she introduces you.. she is very serious and you want to be respectful.

You will have ONE chance to create a good impression, use it well!
