"OUCH"

The men have more risks! traveling to another country, spending alot of money, then the chances that the woman is just playing you. I could only imagine such a let down. Any thoughts on this gentelmen?

There is risk of both emotional and finacial let down no matter what! I certainly risk that here in my town. I thought one of the reasons we search this way is because we have faith that these women will be more faithful and less money orientated then those around us. There are plenty of beautiful women here.... So we must be looking for more then just that, right... If we are looking for inner beauty as well, the ones here with bad intentions will shine through and be seen.
I am truely amazed at the amount of doubt and fear that is displayed here. If this is how you feel, why bother. Maybe a women already broke you and you fear it yet again?

I was relating to a post I had read, did I show fear or something? Funny! always amazed at how some interpet others thoughts.

I have read some yes, I really haven't seen the fear you talk about, some concerns yes. maybe there is fear for some, and if thats the issue I agree with you, why are they here? I was trying to relate to a post I read earlier about the gentelman who was decieved, I felt bad for him!

I think if we were afraid, we wouldn't be here. In fact, I know more than one couple who met like this and have successful marriages. It can work... but lately, there really seems to be more scamming (or maybe I am noticing more).

But I definitely agree with your remark about why we are here. I am hoping to find a sincere woman who is who is well grounded, FAITHFUL and seeking a solid relationship that is not based on material wealth. Wealth seems to be a transient term lately... and bad thing on which to base a relationship.

I agree with jscottv's comment but i do understand no one wants to be played but there will always be both men and women whether in your home town or accross the globe that will play and scam I just hold out faith that they are discovered fast so those who trully seek love can find it.

I feel I must explain better. When I say fear and doubt, I do not necessarily mean in the women. But said choices in the women. I personally have more faith in myself to weed out the fakes and to spot the real treasures here. As mentioned above, there are users everywhere, hell I was married to one for nearly five years....but I have faith not to fall prey to it again....
For one I go slow......if that is unacceptable to them....ok...that one was not meant for me!

of coarse the risks are there, but for both sides, and more of a financial strain for the men.

I'm aware of the cost involved, to be honest it's not that bad, for sure you would need more than a minimum wage salary..........no offence to anyone intended.....
