If she were to come here on an educational visa, is there anything stopping us from getting married while she's here?

Nothing can stop your marriage.
Getting her immigration visa is a different matter.

Yeah, we're working on that. Just wondering if anyone ran into any procedural hurdles with an F1 versus K1. Anyway, I've learned a lot even since posting this. Thanks.

Generally, it's 10 times easier for a man to travel to his Eastern lady's destination or a country that they both can visit easily.

For an F1 visa a person must show that he/she has enough money to pay for a year or so. Usually, international students pay much higher fees. The study must be serious. It's very difficult to get a visa "to study English in the USA" because everybody is accepted.

K1 is a correct visa for getting married. But the US feminists made it difficult to sponsor K1 visas - you can do it only 2 times during your entire life.
