Dear Mick and Alena,

Hello Pretty35:
I read some of your posts in the ladies forum. I hope you enjoyed your vacation in USA to check out the USA life. But each city is very different. I see you liked Manhattan the best of the places you visited? That is a common problem for the men here. Very few of us can afford to live or even want to live in Manhattan. After the Russian lady visits Manhattan or Georgetown, she may no longer be satisfied to live in Tulsa, Des Moines, or Louisville. I know, because it was just one of several problems for me. So guys, after your Russian lady gets here, take your vacations at the beach, the mountains, Disneyland, Hollywood, Dollywood, etc, but never take her to Manhattan or Georgetown.

Interesting insight rogerm222,

GIRLS!! If you live in the best apartment building in Moscow, you SHOULD expect to live in Manhattan or Georgetown. Please make this clear in your personal bio page, "PERHAPS" an international banker, head university professor or wall street big firm trade expert will see your advertisement and come sweep you from your feet and come carry you away.

For all of us "normal" people.. You could move to Jersey and get a one bedroom for $600.00 a month. (Our version of Siberia, no offense NJ!)

Here are sample NY City rental rates, you figure it out!! :D

I am sorry, rogerm222.
but I do not understend you
I never said that I like Manheten. I said that I like people whom I met in New York
I lived in hotel near to Manheten and chose this hotel under the price, instead of on an arrangement.
I came as the tourist, paid for my trip myself and I have no relation to visas of brides or other problems.

rogerm222, you can see my posts in the ladies forum, but if you do not know Russian, you misunderstand them. Translator in the Internet deforms thought

jscottv.
I was in NJ. nothing bad there
Yes, I have a good apartment in Moscow, but Manhattan or Georgetown are not my dreams

If you can come to Moscow, you can see most beautiful central city streets.
I love my city and I am proud of it
I will never tell to girls from a forum ,,if you will arrive to Moscow, do not go to walk with the groom on Tver or Arbat, becourse they are much beter then your place,,
It is ridiculous

I like to walk with my friend in the center of Moscow, I am not afraid that he will stop to meet me only because I live not on the main and expensive street

This post a little off topic, but still interesting! ;)

Pretty

The New Jersey area is known as the "home of organized crime"...

Most of the scenes from the television show, "The Sopranos" (about organized crime families) were shot in New Jersey.

When people in the USA talk about organized crime, they think about New Jersey (or Las Vegas, which was built by the organized crime families using Union Loans out of New Jersey).

In the past, they sent the "criminals TO Siberia", in the USA, New Jersey is KNOWN for the criminals.

But I have some great friends that were originally from New Jersey.. That is why I included the apology, not everyone from New Jersey is a bad guy. But they DO enjoy their "tough guy" reputation!.. :D

Here is an edit: After I posted, I found this link to all of the locations in New Jersey where the Sopranos was filmed!.. just something interesting to see.. maybe you could visit next time you go there! Click the gun in the map to actually see the exact location with details..

I agree with you. It is ridiculous. But true. I was referring to your comment about how much you liked the theaters and entertainment that were so close to your hotel. Friends of my wife from Russia came to visit USA. They visited us. They let my wife stay with them and their friends in Georgetown for a week. When she came home, all she talked about was the great life in Georgetown. We were renting a beautiful 3000 square foot house in the Blue Ridge mountains in a very nice small city. But for 2 years she just talked about leaving and moving to a small apartment in Georgetown. I agree with you totally, it was ridiculous. But true. The environment in Manhattan and Georgetown more closely resembles city life in Moscow much more than other cities in the USA. The Russian ladies from large Russia cities frequently are not happy in other smaller USA cities.

P.S. I have been to Moscow. I have walked Arbat and Red Square. Interesting sites, but not where I would want to live. I preferred the hills and life in the smaller city of Sochi when I visited there.

This is a part of the "cultural differences". In Ukraine and Russia the largest cities are considered the best place to live. In USA many people consider the medium size cities to have the best quality of life.

What cities did you visit? Can you give a brief description of your opinion on each of them?

We are all off topic most of the time here on the mens forum.
Alena, maybe you have some special good news you can tell us men about?

But after reading what the ladies on the womens forum have to say about us men here, I think our chances are about 286000 to 1 with any of you ladies. Here are a few (not very positive) quotes from the ladies forum:

OlgaUkraine: as a mathematician calculated that the probability to find a partner with whom spend a lifetime together for men is 1:286000: cry

Pretty35: Here on the site, only a negligible percentage of normal, appropriate men.

smaryna: I've been all male forum revered, this and other and I are sick of them. When the letter comes from someone who lit up at these forums, or those who know the photo in other forums - oh ... : mad: just a gag reflex

Rogerm222,
Your transfer is not correct.
To listen your heart at dialogue with the woman which is pleasant to you is much better.
To read a female forum and to translate it from Russian into English, is useless pastime

There is hundred women on site and jast small percent from them communicates at a forum. It is not necessary to do conclusions about the chances of success, reading a female forum

P.S. Sorry for my bad English, hope you understend :)

This is not jast a "cultural differences
There are more chances to find work in a big city , therefore we have a lot of migrants in Moscow, St Peter or Kiev.
Many people (and me too) wish to have the house in suburb, but the prices for houses in America and Russia are different.
In Russia the good house can cost more expensive then apartments and jast a few people can have it.
Sochi, Yalta and other resort cities on the sea are beautiful, but most people there can work only during summer season.

On a theme about that what is beter, city or village...
If the woman is formed, had a good work in her homeland, it will be difficult to her to adapt if she cannot work in America.
Where she has more chances to find work? If the woman leaves with the child where is better to study to him?
And the most important question to the men, searching foreign wife. Whether you are ready to contain the new wife and her child?
Adaptation occupies long time, and for young, formed women to appear at once helpless and dependent, in another's country-its a big stress.

I think, choosing the woman, it is necessary to understand well her style of life, desires and ambitions.

The most important and the greatest thing that I can tell you - men - I have found my husband here, on this site.
When I read yours forum it's most of all only negative information and warning - men be careful  .

Though I'm able to write here I very seldom have wish to do it.

If it's so bad and so hard to find woman by internet why you all still here??? you can only moan and moan and moan but still sit next to computer and search someone, who, as you think, will be special for you. it's really very seldom when men share good story with us and even in this case you tell - be careful - maybe it's only beginning and then will be problems :(

I wish you all to change your mind and to see - how beautiful is life that you spend alot of time only to moan - live your life and enjoy it and you all will find right woman that will suit only for you. Good luck! ;)

jscottv,
I try to see only good things during tourist trips. I am not interested about criminal and mafia in America or in Russia.
Our guide showed us historical places in New Jersey. To me is not interesting where the American mafia was born.

Dear men, why you so are aggressive?
You address with a question to the concrete woman from a forum and then start to train in sarcasm?
Are you still surprised, why many women from a site do not want to answer you at a forum? :(

"The Sopranos" was/is a very popular television program here in the US. The links show where the television and movie people did the filming. The locations are locations where you can see where certain scenes were filmed.

Many people here are interested to see where the television crews film and find the locations interesting to visit.

Pretty, If you had taken the time to understand what was written BEFORE criticizing. perhaps you would have REALIZED THAT i WAS SPEAKING OF A VERY POPULAR TELEVISION PROGRAM.

And when is it sarcasm to speak of a television program? or to speak about the history in an area of our country? To give history and information is now sarcastic?

I seriously believe you do not understand our culture and our method of communication very well. That is too bad... it seems you judge us before you even really understand us.

jscottv,

I saw the full text of your answer, before you have removed last phrases, thank you :)
I have left the small comment about my trip jast because I was asked about it by rogerm222.
It is the unique reason why I have written the post at your forum
I do not wish to argue and prove something with anybody.
I said that I have a bad English and is possible we have misunderstood each other .

I have addressed in this theme with a congratulation to the pair, which has noted wedding, I do not understand, why it has caused interest to me and my trip?
I am not in search for a long time and already have serious relations.
I wish you the same too.

Pretty..

Neither do I wish to have a bad communication... I realize sometimes the first response is not always the best response, I apologize.

My point in writing about New Jersey was to only find something interesting to speak about. Your trip to the US gives opportunity to find common interests about which we can share.

I find it very sad that people are SO reactive instead of taking the time to gain understanding... everyone seems SO angry.. why is this?

I now have been communicating with a lady for many months. I plan to visit family in Geneva CH late April early May, then fly to Kiev for a few days to meet her. I hope it goes well. We shall see. But, what ever happens, I will share my experience.

I personally feel it is time for people to overcome their differences and find a better way to co-exist. But what can I say.. In secret, I am a dreamer! :D (don't tell anyone!)
