I am here to hopefully find the woman I want to spend forever with, but joining here was misleading. I am disappointed that I can not respond to some of the women I sent an original flirt to. I can not even read the message they sent to me??? I have no way of knowing if they are interested in me for real, or just looking around. I have been scammed before by web sites like this and feel like this one wants to scam me too. I want to be able to communicate a little with the women on here to see if they are real before I go spending my money to join the site. There are several sites that put pictures of women up to lure men in, but then those women are "no longer members", or otherwise unavailable. I don't mind paying the website for it's services, but they have made it really impossible to verify anything until after you pay, so I think a lot of men like myself will not pay the money to join and get full access to this because of these fears and therefore can not make the connection necessary to end up "happily ever after" There are several women who have emailed me on here and I would be very interested in pursuing them to see where things could go, but I fear they may just be "the lure", so I will not pay and fall victim to the scam. If I could see what they wrote and verify that they are who they say and that they are actually interested in me then I would gladly pay and begin further conversations that would hopefully lead to happily ever after. If they even offered a " 1 time " payment option for a trial full access month I would consider it, but you have to authorize and ongoing payment and then come back to cancel which can sometimes be difficult and result in 4 to 5 months worth of charges. Anyway, this is why I am here and why it has left me in a quandary as to what I should do. Pay and hope, or wait and try to confirm??

Rusty,

Once you join, the site is wide open. You can use the vid features, email who you wish, read emails from ladies and exchange contact info directly.

I joined twice, now my paid membership is "over", but I don't need to pay now because i am in direct contact.

Take the lowest level membership and try it out.. it works.

Scott, thank you very much!! I think your experience with the site is exactly what I needed to try it out. Did you have any problems canceling when you wanted to? That was my biggest fear with it all. I also wanted to ask if anyone has bothered to try to put together a group trip to Russia? I know that in many cases a group trip can be far cheaper than individual trips. I know it would be a bit of an ordeal to organize and have people coordinate their travel times, but it may just be worth it in the end. The money you save on flights and accommodations is money you could spend on your special someone. Just a thought.

Thanks again, I will join up and see where it leads to.

I agree with Scotty, I think if you try the paid membership for a short time then all your worries will fade. I also am no longer a paid member as I feel I no longer need it. I had spoken awhile back of loosing contact once I was injured. I have since regained contact and we are using our e-mails now for correspondence so this site has only value for information for me in the forums. I often disagree with what is written by two men in particular one always speaks of quick trips and buying gifts and such the other is more of a player. Polar opposites but good entertainment, the ladies offer insight but again not always what I would agree with. But one can learn through these forums if we engage in them. There is no doubt that there are scammers here but there are scammers who may live next door to you as well. So ask questions, be truthful in your communications, and don’t fall into a trap. I believe most are seeking what they say; if you question their profiles you can tactfully ask. If they are honest I believe they will be happy to clear up the misunderstanding if not pass them by. Good luck.

And yes it is easy to stop paid membership as well

Mike,

Thank you, the information you and Scott have provided is great. I will join up and see where this goes. I believe you are probably right about the forums, the can be very helpful as I have seen already and I am sure many of the posts are quite humorous sometimes.

Thanks again,

Rusty

hi rusty
this is a very good/safe site and you should have a reasonable chance for success here in my opinion. i think you're generally corresponding with real women rather than "agents" who then relay your email to the woman. from my experience most of the women on here have there own computers rather than needing to go to a "computer cafe" once a week to correspond with you.
for the guys that are interested in the other sites that offer "socials" with lots of women. i tried this approach my first time. this is what i seen...most of the girls were 18-21 and were there for drinks and hopefully getting a guy to take them to dinner nothing more. of the 25 or so guys i was with 5-6 guys found "working girls" and i guess they had a goodtime. anyway

anyway rusty you can't go wrong here.

ps.. is it just my advance search option that ain't working or are others having problems with it??

Rusty,

I know you have already recieved advice from several others discussing if this website is just a scam. I can insure you that the woman on this website are very real. I have even met one in real life and had a year and 3 month relationship with her, although it did not work out in the end. But I can tell you I enjoyed my time with her and have some great memories that will last a lifetime.

I have spoken with several woman on this website through their personal e-mails and on skype using webcams and microphones so the woman are very real. I heard from one woman who signed up for this website that they actually have to go through a selection proccess. The woman said she signed up for the website two months prior to being contacted by them. She had forgotten she even signed up for the website when she recieved a phone call from the website asking her personal questions. They finaly approved her and allowed her to use her account. I guess this is a process they use to try to stop scammers. Of course its not always going to eliminate all problems because who can truely tell the intentions of all these woman.

I have been to the other websites where you have several beautiful woman writing to you just to lure you into buying an account and I assure you this is not one of those. With that being said goodluck to you and hope you find who your looking for.

Frankly I tend to agree with the original response Rusty offered.

There is one specific lady on here that I would very much like to meet and probably start a full life long relationship with. That is entirely my actual goal as part of the LoversPlanet society. I've been a member since 2005, and have received many "replies" to the "generic" messages, there are no generic messages which I would personally use in a real life situation though.

Of course this site is designed to be lucrative and that is fully understood. However having had previous bad experiences with other sites; I am completely hesitant to commit my credit card.

I'm legitimately here to find a mutual partnership that can lead up to a loving relationship and marriage, although I also fully realize that is only possible through direct conversation.

Perhaps I will make that positive decision once I find someone that is able to "knock my socks off" with her reply.

Sincerely,
Dr. Mike

The website is inexpensive compared to many others.

Yes, girls here look down-to-earth, photographs are not always professional. So what? There are websites full of model girls. Guess what, they chat with you for money, but never meet.
Pay-per-message websites are no good, pay-per-month are OK.

After seeing Rusty's fortunate find: I'm going to get a pre-paid card on Tuesday and seriously see how this goes.

I'll give myself 3 months, and if it doesn't work this way I can just cut the card.
