You do not have to be a rich man to attract these ladies and you should not think you have to better yourself to give them a better life or change yourself to suit them,you are what you are and a lady should love you for what you are,warts and all.
If you find you are changing to many things in your life to accommodate a lady you are with the wrong one,it should just flow naturally.

Also if you were a rich man i would certainly keep this very quiet until you were 110% sure about this person and then it would be too soon!

Be carefull as with any dating site,there are many fakes on here and do not get sucked in with the first pretty girl,listen to head not heart!!!!!!

ALLWAYS keep your options open and dont put your eggs in one basket and never make a decision until you meet the girl in person,that says it all,from experience.

i'm newer to this scene, but have had about 4 people trying to milk me for some cash. its pretty easy to figure out. when they aren't attentive to what you have said or questions you have asked or when they use weird verbage that a russian translating wouldnt use. ask questions that would pertain to a person of her age and see how "it" responds. more important, they will lead into a situation few letters before asking for the cash. its actually pretty funny. after the first time it happened to me, i would just screw with them back. i had one that i was on yahoo messanger with that i called out, and then they tried to sell me gold dust. lmao. anyway, they're pretty easy to figure out. just go with it knowing that just like traditional dating, there probably be some pitfalls. just different ones, and have fun with it. try not to get to wrapped up with her until you meet. you know how you never really know someone till you live with them. well take a step back from that, and do you really know someone till you meet them? good luck with your search, and know they cant take your money until you give it to them, all that might be taken is your pride.

I take a different approach on the money question. They say don't send money until you meet them, but I would say don't send money you can't afford to lose.

1) If she asks or hints, don't send anything, she either does not have enough pride or is scamming you.
2) Don't send money until you have had a week or two on Skype. Watch her face, if you can't see the love in her eyes don't send money.
3) Don't send money until you have gotten two or more detailed messages asking and answering questions a day for a few weeks. This isn't worth the payoff to a scammer and they will look for easier targets.
4) Read all of the scams and don't send money if they fit the profile.
5) When you are sure she is legit, send a few hundred dollars a month. If you can't afford to blow this much you probably can't afford to feed a wife.

6) Let LP know what you suspect. After a couple times they will get pulled. That saves the next batch of guys from having to deal with a known scammer.

While I would agree you shouldn't change yourself to meet a womans whims, that is something very different than I describe. What I am talking about is how a truly good woman makes you feel empowered to do great things. If she asks or tries to push you into anything you have a bad woman (had my share). I would say be honest, and to some extent paint yourself as less of a man than you are. I agree if she loves and accepts you as flawed, she is really going to appreciate your efforts to make her happy. In simpler terms, as a bachelor I would leave the seat up. I didn't care if my socks were on the floor. As a married man I put it down and pick them up. It didn't change who I am, but it made her happier, for a while at least. Until I cut up the credit cards.
