When you look at the profiles you see that some ladies have been here for years. I asked one of the married ladies, still here to help the new ladies, and she told me this is common.

It seems to me that if a woman has been here a long time, this would be a good sign. Because if she was a scammer, the first or second time she asked for money she would be exposed and removed.

Secondly, if she was here for a long time wouldn't it likely signal she was serious in her intentions, patient, and had thought it through?

Its a good logical thought process and i would say it has some foundation, however ,my now wife ,was only on for 1 week before we started correspondance last july. I confirmed that all was genuine through conversations on skype before i made the trip 7 weeks later .

My situation was probably one of both in the same place at the same time ,we like to think destiny played its part. But its strange we were both sceptical about intentios ! Our chemistry started straight away and all i can say you know when it feels right .

I hope all find what ive found ,i truly believe ,there is more success stories just waiting to be discovered .

Good luck all

If she is an attractive lady and on the web sites for a long time, she either has some mean kids or is probably a professional dater, just in it for the free dinners and an occasional trip, but smart enough to elude the scam label. I wasted a trip on one of those.

There are many plain Jane type ladies who have been on the various sites for 10+ years. They are usually nice ladies, serious, but no more serious than a new lady. I have personally met or emailed several ladies in this category that started looking about 10 years ago.
