I was referring to the young 20-something ladies, not you...
1% 2% 70% I guess statistics don't lie. But consider:

a) Most of the ladies really don't want to leave their friends and family in Ukraine. Only a small percentage do. The majority are happy to date and marry Ukraine men.
b) The small percentage who don't quickly learn the locations where the European and American men are know to frequent: the artsy Martini bar, the Irish pub, the fancy disco like River Palace. So they go there hoping to meet a nice man. (You might also take into consideration their reasons for not dating Ukraine men.)
c) But only a small minority of the men they meet in those bars are quality men. For each good man they meet, they probably get 20 offers from losers...

So that is what the innocent looking 22 year old has been dealing with. Good luck with her.

Not sure if that question was for me, or not Roger, but I know that when I take a trip to Russia, I plan to be there for at least 2 weeks. I really have no desire to make the trip into a quick one. I would consider a "quick trip" to be one week or less... The time zone is 8 hours difference for me, the flight very long. You need one day to fly, one day to recover, and the same to return. That is 4 days from work. So that would leave maybe 3 days with the lady. Enough to discover whether or not it seems possible. But if it DOES seem possible, 3 days would seem like nothing.

I have family/friends in Geneva that I must visit soon for various reasons. So I will fly from Geneva to Ukraine. This way, the flight will not be so bad and i will be fresh when I arrive. Plus the cost difference to fly to Geneva then to Ukraine, is nearly the same as flying directly to ukraine because you get better prices to fly first into other parts of Europe.

In fact, as I think of it. for someone flying in from the US... I would might recommend first flying into Paris for a day or two, THEN heading to Russia or Ukraine. Paris to Kiev is approximately $400.00 USD with a little more than a 3 hour flight time. Flights TO Paris are about 800.00 USD

Flights directly to Kiev for me are about 1200.00 USD, nearly the same price.. BUT, it is a 17 hour flight duration!! You would arrive tired and irritated... NOT a good first meeting!!

I'm going in a few months and my flight is just over 25 hours from the west coast to Russia

Hello to every one here. I have read this thread with great delight and have been thoroughly entertained while learning a lot. I must say that I agree. With all of Olga's posts. Tn answer the original question I am on this site to meet a lady and have done so. Untill Tanya and I decide otherwise I will not write to another lady. After all how could I expect her to believe what I say if I am saying the same things to another? Perhaps not an efficient use of my time but then I am not much of a multi-tasker.
