About Samara, Russia
In the southeastern most region of European Russia, Samara lies on the banks of the Volga River. The city that was founded in 1586 as a defensive outpost, developed into a major trading center for the whole of the Volga region in Russia's southeastern territories. Today, it is noted for its contributions to industry and the European Russian transportation network.
City of Samara
Not noted for its museums and architecture, Samara is a city famous for its beaches, which run along the banks of the Volga and offer tourists a traditional summer holiday setting.
The city itself does nevertheless have a number of interesting features. It doesn't lack museums and other cultural sites (it just isn't famous for them). Among the most interesting are the Ploshchad Slavy and the Monument of Glory, St George Cathedral and Iversky Women's Monastery, and Stalin's Bunker and the Alabin Samara Regional History Museum.
Dating Samara Women
Although Samara brides may be less worldly than those who live in the larger cities, such as Moscow or St Petersburg, like most Russian women, those who live in Samara are typically sophisticated, educated, and stable. Russia is often considered home to some of the most beautiful women in the world, but don't let this intimidate you. Dating Russian women is likely to be a straightforward and rewarding experience. Samara girls are approachable and friendly when it comes to dating.
